Registration Policy

 

Registration for Classes.

Class size is limited, with priority given to students register for the term and to continuing students. The remaining spaces are then open to monthly students on a first-come first-serve basis, with full payment securing the student’s place in that class. Term registration can be completed online via the website. For all other registrations, please contact us directly.

 

Registration for Workshops

You are encouraged to register well in advance, to ensure your spot and to ensure that a workshop will run with sufficient registration. Class size is limited, with registration being on a first-come first-serve basis. Registration and full payment will secure the student’s place in that class. Workshop is subject to minimum enrollment. Registered students will be notified three days in advance if a workshop will not take place, and a full refund will be given.

 

Wait-list

If a class or workshop is full, students may ask to be added to a wait-list. If an opportunity opens us, the studio will contact the students on the wait-list to register them in that class. There is no cost to be added to the wait-list, and there is no obligation to register, should a space become available.

 

Payment of Fees

Registration is completed once fees are paid in full. Payments can be made by Interac e-transfer or by cheque.The student will receive the supplies list together with confirmation of registration once fees are paid.

 

Official Receipt

Receipts are not normally issued. If a student requires a receipt, there will be an administrative cost of $10 per receipt.

 

Student Withdrawals and Refunds

A withdrawal from a class with 3 business days’ notice prior to the start of the first session will result in a 50% refund of tuition fee. In all other cases, fees are non-refundable.

 

Credits for Sessions Missed 

Credit is not given for sessions missed. It is the student’s responsibility to attend all sessions booked and paid for.

 

Cancellation of Class

The studio reserves the right to cancel a class up to three days prior to the start of the class, if there is insufficient enrolment. In this case, the studio will issue a full refund to all those students who have registered. Class cancellation will be announced to each student by email.

 

Class Times

Class times are Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday 2-5pm. Evening classes are Sunday 6-9pm. Monday and Tuesday 6:30pm-9:30pm and Wednesday 6-9pm.

 

Arrival Time

Classes start promptly, and students may arrive 5-10 minutes prior to start time. Please do not arrive earlier than this.

 

Closure of Studio

The studio is closed from 1-2pm during weekend workshops, and from 5-6:30pm during the week.
